Swim School Teacher

**It’s fun to work at the YMCA**
We are looking for a Swim School Teacher to join our team based at Onehunga War Memorial Pool. The role is PART TIME for 15 hours per week based on a roster.
**What will you be doing?**
- Teach all swimming courses, classes and activities to babies, children, youth and adults
- Follow lesson plans and recommend when a participant moves up a level
- Conduct assessments of students during class
- Provide feedback to parents on their child’s progress
- Create a fun and friendly environment within the swim school that is welcoming and comfortable to all members, new and old, and encourages a sense of belonging and support.

**What experience/skills do you need?**
- You must be able to swim.
- Experience in swim teaching is preferable.
- Hold a AUSTSWIM qualification - can be achieved on the job.
- Current First Aid/CPR Certificate would be an advantage.
