**The Role**:
Reporting to the Safety and Sustainability Manager, we are seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Coordinator to join our team. This is a newly created role in which, you will provide first-line advice and administrative support for all health and safety and employee wellbeing initiatives, ensuring a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace for all team members.

This is a part time role **28 to 32 hours per week across 5 days**. This is a fixed-term role until December 2025.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide first-line advice and support for health and safety and employee wellbeing initiatives.
- Coordinate and prepare H&S reporting and documentation, including quarterly Health & Safety reports and H&S Committee materials.
- Support leaders with incident investigations and risk register updates, ensuring thorough documentation and tracking of corrective actions.
- Collaborate with leaders, team members, and external partners to foster a proactive safety culture.
- Maintain and optimise our H&S system, including data updates, reporting, and user training.
- Promote wellbeing across the organisation.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Proactive with a keen eye for attention to detail

**Qualifications and Expertise**:

- 3+ years’ experience in a Health and Safety coordination position
- 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of safety and sustainability strategies and practices
- Excellent skills in Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook
- Understanding of, and ability to apply, H&S legislation and case law in an ANZ context
- Experience using an HRIS or Safety database/software
