Commercial Sales Specialist

**Job Description** About the role**

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will manage and develop effective customer relationships across the region, creating sustainable value-add opportunities. You will work across all aspects of the sales process from the tender stage through to negotiating prices and contracts. The role is based in Thames/Coromandel.

The focus of this role is to take responsibility for the development and management of existing customer accounts along with obtaining new business within the Eastern Waikato market to maximise profits and achieve sales objectives. This autonomous role will require you to target new customers whilst continuing to identify and deliver solutions to grow market share within the current customer base.

Providing a high level of service that will consolidate long-term relationships, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring service excellence and assisting our clients achieve their long-term sustainability goals.
**Qualifications** About you**

You are a dynamic individual who enjoys the thrill of the chase and has proven sales experience in a fast-paced industry. You are open to coaching and training and have a passion to grow in your sales career.

Ideally, you will have the following skills and attributes:

- Great communication skills and you’re someone who enjoys working in a collaborative team
- Your customer-focused and great at relationship development and management
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- An energetic, “can do” attitude and style
- Proven experience: sales, solution selling, business acumen
- Having used Sales Force, territory planning, will be an advantage
- Current NZ driver’s license
