AUT's Centre for Interdisciplinary Trauma Research is looking for a Project Co-ordinator to support _Atawhai_, a research project focused on making primary health care a safe and supportive place for families affected by violence in the Bay of Plenty. Funded by the Health Research Council (2024-2027), the project listens to what matters most to whānau so health services can better meet their needs.
Atawhai is strongly grounded in Kaupapa Māori values. Māoritanga is not only respected — it's a key part of who we are and how we work together. The Project Co-ordinator will co-ordinate the project—managing timelines, budgets, meetings, and communication. You'll be part of a passionate, collaborative team, working alongside researchers, community partners, and people with lived experience to help create real change for families across Aotearoa.
**He kōrero mōu | About you**
The successful applicant will need to have proven project management experience, desirably in a research environment or tertiary institution, strong relationship-building skills, and superb co-ordination and organisational skills.
