**About the role**:
We are seeking a Learning Specialist to join our busy libraries team. The Programme Design and Delivery team plans, delivers and promotes learning programmes to the community, enhancing and encouraging learning and educational outcomes. As a Learning Specialist, you will support and communicate with a diverse range of customers by engaging, motivating and inspiring them to be the best they can be.

In this role, you would be based primarily in the South Library and current learning centre. However, you would be moving around delivering in all of our Auahatanga - Creative Spaces around the network. Our Creative Spaces are a place where everyone can learn, make and design. **About you**:
Our courses and classes have a focus on learning with innovative and creative technologies for all ages and stages. A sound knowledge of a range of software, and digital technologies is therefore required in this role.

To succeed in this unique role, you will have previous experience in education or learning, a passion for helping others, and the flexibility to learn new skills. You'll have a sense of initiative, excellent self-management skills, and above all a creative spirit. Not only do you get to inspire, you get to play Encourage young and old to connect with their artistic side, grow their skillsets, and have a whole lot of fun doing it.
