40 hours per fortnight (0.5FTE)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, Te Matau a Māui, Hawke’s Bay to cover the parental leave of our part-time Quality Use of Medicines role. Full-time hours can be achieved by a part time role as a ward based Clinical Pharmacist.

We are a collaborative and supportive team looking for a colleague who shares our values of Respect, Partnership, Care and Improvement.

We are interested in hearing from Clinical Pharmacists with hospital pharmacy experience, and a passion for improving the quality and safe use of medicines in a hospital setting. This role is the first quality specific role in our department but is supported by all members of the team who are committed to improving medicine use.

Your focus will be on supporting or leading quality initiatives across the organisation, including relevant audits, collaborating on policy and guideline development with other departments, and supporting the education of health professionals through producing medication related bulletins. You will oversee the maintenance of the medication dosing libraries of our large volume and syringe pumps.
