They value their staff highly and you would become part of the family from the outset. Our busy client is seeking Machine Operators to join their team. Based in Pokeno Location**:Pokeno** Days and hours**:Minimum 40 hours per week** **Machine Operator** Operates the production control console to produce high quality concrete product efficiently and safely. *** **Key Responsibilities** - Ensure production schedule is adhered to, to ensure achievement of the production plan. - To accurately complete all duties on time to a high standard of safety and quality. - To ensure quality control sheets are used, checked as intended and non-conformances are immediately acted upon to eliminate any costs of poor quality. - Ensure appropriate use of all equipment and assets. - Support team efforts to meet the production requirements. - Continuously develop knowledge of processes and plant procedures - Add value by being an active participant in competitive manufacturing meetings and ensure these processes are a part of day-to day work habits. **Key Requirements** - Technical Competence: Solid understanding of automated processes and can implement process improvements. - Recognises quality issues and can advise on possible solutions to rectify with the Supervisor. - A reasonable level of physical fitness to undertake manual handling tasks - Flexible, reliable and customer focused. Communicates effectively with the wider team and operates in a respectful and supportive manner. - Gets "stuck in" to achieve targets. Focused on services to the needs of the wider site. - Technical aptitude, solutions and results driven, attention to detail and quality focused. - Highly organised and can monitor multiple inputs and outputs (efficiency, quality, production volume) at the same time - Reliable team player - A safety focused approach to work **You must**: - Have at least 2 contactable references - Ability to pass a pre-employment alcohol and drug screen test - Return a clear or satisfactory police report **Minimum six permanent vacancies available based at a Pokeno manufacturing site with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
