I allow team members to have independence whilst providing my support whenever needed. **What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role?** - Excellent technical legal skills obtained at a reputable law firm and/or corporate, preferably in banking & financial services. - Excellent communication skills (including an ability to write concisely and clearly). - Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess complex issues and give pragmatic advice quickly, concisely and clearly. - Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders, and to work collaboratively within a team. - Ability to work independently with supervision from more senior members of the team. **What is your favourite thing about working for BNZ?** The people.
