To join us on this journey we are looking for a **Claims Service Coordinator** to manage and co-ordinate the day-to-day administrative tasks of Recovery, Liability, Assessing and investigations teams effectively and efficiently. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customers are receiving the required services while actively managing caseloads and costs.

You will be responsible for:

- Allocating assessment work to internal and external assessors.
- Following up on outstanding quotes/queries/work
- Coordinating assessor workload
- Reducing the administrative load of assessors
- Assist with disputes tribunal files for Recoveries and Liabilities, including completing lodgement forms, following up the file and overall management as required.
- Assist with the training of the claims services co-ordinators to enable them to carry out the Recoveries & Liabilities coordination role.
- Assist with the tasks of the Claims Service Coordinators for Investigations and Assessing during peak periods, annual leave and as otherwise required.
- Daily Banking - Running reports, processing cheques, reviewing dishonours, payment allocations and reconciliation of payments
- External Service Providers: Coordinating with service providers i.e. investigators, field agents, Ministry of Justice, New Zealand Police, third party debt collectors (Credit Consultants, Baycorp etc.) on a regular basis
- External Suppliers: Liaise with 3rd party debt collectors, CC and Bay as and when needed
- Load new recovery referrals from IF and NIMS onto Mercantile
