Every day you will be dealing with challenging situations which will need to be approached with professionalism, respect, empathy and in a positive manner. You will be welcoming customers into the station and ensuring their enquiries are understood and handled appropriately. The role of a Frontline Station Support Officer provides operational and administrational support to Police which includes but is not limited to, front counter customer service, data entry, use of Police systems and file management. **Key Accountabilities**: - Dealing with challenging circumstances in a customer services environment - Managing challenging situations involving members of the public in a professional, respectful, and empathetic manner. - Recording of complaints from members of the public, answering general inquiries and performing reception duties such managing contractor / visitor access. - Strong Organisational skills with the ability to multitask. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Available to work on Weekends, shift work and Public Holidays **He aha taau e kawe mai | What you'll bring** Being part of the Police whanau is about being our best to ensure our communities are safe and feel safe.
