**About the Role**

We are looking for an Operator to join our Living Earth team based in Christchurch.

In this role, you will be responsible to operate machinery for shredding, screening, transportation loading and unloading of green waste, additives, and transport of material around the production and site.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- On-site operation of the screen, ensuring the screen is clean, and maintained.
- General labour as required, including sweeping, and cleaning of plant and equipment as required.
- Performing required daily service and maintenance of machinery and operating in a safe and efficient manner

**To be successful in this role**
- You must be physically fit and strong and able to work in wet or sunny conditions
- Have a Full New Zealand Driver’s licence
- Relevant experience and W, T endorsements for each machine that is required to be operated (Class 2 license is an advantage).
- Experience in operating wheeled and tracked loaders, diggers, and fork hoist
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
