There is an opportunity to work alongside an experienced music teacher in the delivery of group piano lessons. Ideally you are intermediate to advanced pianist looking to explore this career path further. This is a development role and the goal would be to eventually set you to run your own classes at a higher pay rate etc.
In this development role, you will be expected to assist students as they work through their current learning pieces, adding opportunities for improvement around technique, rhythm and co-ordination.
The children we teach are beginners so high energy/patience is a must. You also need to be able to read music at a reasonable level.
The lessons are held after school in Westown.
All our lessons run during primary school terms. We are just about to resume lessons for the year and so employment could potentially start immediately following police vetting and background check.
