**About the opportunity**:
We are currently seeking an Assistant Motel Manager (a couple as managers are also welcomed) who are looking for a new challenge in the Central Palmerston North region. This critical role will be responsible for providing strong leadership direction.

This is an entry-level job opportunity, working and training provided under experienced manager operators, can grow to a full-time motel manager. Accommodation can be provided.

Entry Level:

- Work across reservations / front desk administration and housekeeping. This is a hands-on role and includes housekeeping support.
- Customer experience management & Site maintenance management.
- Oversee room rate, be aware of market trends - focusing on growth/occupancy.
- Manage third party websites and providers. To ensure our listing is always current, accurate and appealing.
- Be responsible for inspecting the Motel’s cleanliness and appearance internally and externally
- Ordering amenities, linen and motel stock.
- Assist the director in the recruitment and hiring process where needed.
- Manage staff working/leave schedule.
- Assisting the Manager and directors with Motel duties as required.
