Our work is responsible for the maintenance of the water, wastewater, and stormwater networks and pump stations, mechanical and electrical maintenance of treatment plants, meter reading services, backflow device testing, and grounds maintenance so no day is the same.

**About the role**:
As the Electrical Leading Hand you will have industrial electrical maintenance experience, preferably in Water or Wastewater. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and directing of your electrical field crews operations.

Key duties could include:

- Providing leadership, management and technical input to the electrical team
- Planning, organising, and controlling electrical activities and projects to deliver contract requirements and to achieve targeted performance
- Managing financial activities to ensure cost control and profitable return on work completed
- Proactively identifying improvements and leading implementation across the contract
- Support, implement and adhere to H&S policies and procedures.

**About you**:
We would like to hear from you if you have the following skills and attributes.
- 100% commitment to Health and Safety
- Relevant water, engineering or electrical qualification
- At least three years’ proven experience in ideally the water industry or similar
- Leadership behaviours that empower others
- Full NZ Driver License - Class 1
- Certification in confined spaces & working at heights preferred.
