Rocket Tech Limited is a Managed IT services and support organisation.

We are currently seeking an energetic and enthusiastic ICT Hardware Technician to join our Wellington team. This role will be primarily focused on Repairing and working on Computers,Phones,Gaming Consoles and Motherboards.

Job Duties:
*Board Level Repairs and Mcrosoldering.

*Software and hardware installs, setups, and configurations.

*Support for the deployment and maintenance of computer infrastructure and web technology.

*Troubleshooting and performing diagnostics to ICT hardware and peripheral devices.

*Maintaining health and safety standards and procedures.

*Provide exceptional customer service.

*Knowledge about reading schematic diagrams.

*Maintain and installation of new equipment such as Phones, Pads, MacBook’s PC's, laptops, printers, and modems.

*Document and maintain accurate records of all support activities

*Be able to work on a flexible roster including public holidays and weekends

*Provide on-site support for hardware, software, and network issues

*Assist customers to choose products by providing information on quality, characteristics of products,Warranties, and maintenance.

*Perform routine inspection, testing, and repair of smart phones screens -iPhone, Samsung screens and other mobile devices.

*Experience in relevant field will be an added advantage.

Job location:

- Wellington Region

Pay:

- $30/h

Pay: $25.00 - $29.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
