Oranga Tamariki - Ministry for Children currently have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Senior Advisor Business Operations to provide support for the Service Delivery Business Operations team based in National Office, Wellington.

As a Senior Advisor, one of your main responsibilities will include providing advice and guidance on operational performance and support and continuous improvement initiatives. The key focus area will be working across enabling functions to support the work of our frontline kaimahi.

In this role, you will be working with the Manager Operational Performance to manage and resolve matters across a range of areas of service delivery with a strong frontline focus, both within the Oranga Tamariki sites and surrounding communities.

**Key attributes to be successful in this role include**:

- Providing high quality advice and work with the Manager Operational Performance and General Manager Business Operations on a range of operational matters
- Take the lead in the continuous improvement of operational support systems and processes
- The ability to build key strategic relationship with our partners across our service lines and groups within Oranga Tamariki to ensure the voice of our front line is championed and understood
- To have the ability to focus on both strategic and operational issues
- Hold a current social work qualification
