The ASM is an alliance between HEB Construction, Fulton Hogan and Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency to operate and maintain Auckland's motorway network. The Alliance is expected to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders as well as suppliers to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers using the Auckland transport system.
**The Opportunity**
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technologically savvy individual to provide strong day-to-day technical support to the ASM. You will be the first point of call for all internal and external customer technical support required for computer workstation hardware and software, telephone, network, operating system, printing and Internet access problems.

In this role you will be presented with a wide range of unique issues; therefore, you must be able to think critically and quickly under pressure and be well equipped to respond to all technical queries. You must also have strong people skills and be motivated to go above and beyond to help our people.
**What you will be doing**
As ICT Support Specialist, you will have a variety of responsibilities and accountabilities including:

- Day to day operation of the helpdesk
- Maintaining written procedures and checklists for all aspects of the position
- Desktop, Tablet and Mobile device support
- Training of admin staff, engineers and foremen in basic ICT requirements
- Management and administration of Azure and Microsoft 365 environment
- Performing installs, upgrades, moves and changes for computer workstation hardware and software, printers and other peripheral devices
- Performing regular routine maintenance/monitoring, ensuring networks operate efficiently
- Troubleshooting local area networks, wide area networks and Internet systems
- Liaison with external ICT providers to resolve issues and optimise performance of systems
- Management set up and support of remote and satellite offices throughout the region
- Recommending & acquiring equipment/resources to ensure continued efficient operation

**That's where you come in**
You will have the below skills and qualifications:

- Tertiary Qualification or certification in information technology or computer science, or relevant experience
- A background in working with people in a complex and challenging environment
- Understanding of product like Azure, 365, DHCP, DNS and some basic networking knowledge
- Extremely familiar with windows OS and windows server environment
- A willingness to learn and grow

**Please note our alliance partners have requested any persons using their premises to be fully vaccinated, which is a requirement for this role.
