**The Role**

As the Payroll Team-lead you will report directly into the Payroll Manager and oversee the BAU of the Payroll Officer. Knowledge of Payglobal is a must, as well as an understanding across unions and agreements as you will be owning the full reporting function.

You will be a specialist in your field, and you will have solid knowledge around legislation whilst working closely with the senior management team who sit across the wider business.

Your duties will include:

- Providing support across weekly payroll for circa 13,000 FTE's
- Understanding the complexities around different union payments and the legalities around New Zealand legislation
- Running multiple weekly and monthly reports through Payglobal
- Managing the exceptions on a weekly basis
- Producing ad-hoc reports for the wider finance team and external resources
- Testing of newly integrated systems
- Providing back-up to payroll as required
- Ad-hoc duties as requested

**Skills & Experience**

This role requires an experienced Payroller who is happy to take the lead as well as rolling up their sleeves to get stuck in. You will be system savvy with an excellent understanding of NZ legislation and union agreements.

You will possess initiative and enjoy working in a dynamic environment within a stable team. Payglobal experience is a must for this position.
