**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

We are on the hunt for an Academic Programmes Adviser to join our team This is an important role in which you will be providing advice on programme and course development to support the University’s academic and curriculum development and approval processes and quality assurance framework.

Some responsibilities of the role are:

- Provide expertise and knowledge to support academic leaders and other staff in the development.
- Review academic proposals and review documents against complex criteria to ensure they meet University and CUAP requirements.
- Coordinate University-wide activities relating to quality.
- Review online and print publications to ensure the accuracy of course and programme information and propose alternative suggestions.
- Support the functioning of relevant committees, such as Academic Programmes Committee and Academic Programmes Sub-committee, including the preparation of agendas and minutes.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with academic leaders and faculty staff to build consistency, knowledge and trust across the University.

The salary range for this role is $54,700 - $68,200 per annum depending on experience and qualifications. This is a permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week role.

We’re looking for someone who has:

- A very keen eye for detail
- Good communication skills, especially in writing, able to communicate complicated ideas coherently and clearly
- Experience working in a complex regulatory environment
- A methodical and organised approach, able to plan their work in advance and prioritise their workload
- A proactive attitude, self-starting and reliable
- Strong relationship-building skills which will allow them to build productive partnerships with their numerous key stakeholders, including the wider Academic Programmes team and the various committees they will be supporting.
