**About the role**

Reporting to the Occupational Health and Safety Manager, you will use your significant health, safety and risk management experience and influencing skillset to advise and guide attitudes and behaviours. You will have a mentoring and coaching mindset, and partner with key stakeholders within the organisation, providing excellent/best practice advice to create a healthy and safe place to work.

**Skills and experience**

You will be full of energy, enthusiasm, able to self-manage and have a rare talent when it comes to projects such as these.

You will be attracted to the challenge of creating and maintaining good health and safety management systems with the proven capability of driving change and continuous improvement.

We anticipate you will also be a health, safety and risk professional who will have:

- Tertiary qualification relevant to health, safety and risk management at Level 6 or higher
- Minimum of 3 years’ post qualification experience as a health and safety advisor
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including oral and written communication and particularly the ability to present ideas, information and advice in a way that is understandable by a range of audiences
- Project management experience
- Ability to support management and advise senior leaders on legislation, regulations and standards
- Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices and show respect, sensitivity and cultural awareness in interpersonal relationships.
