M te tnga | About the role In this role you will be supporting our tngata in our respite whare. This is a really busy whare that has two residential tngata and three respite beds. You will be part of a team who do amazing work with our tngata that have complex it is both challenging and rewarding and you will make such a tangible difference to the lives of the people you support. Our tngata lead busy, active lives which may include attending day services classes, formal functions, gym classes, swimming and visiting whanau.
Ko wai koe | About You You may not have previous experience but you enjoy supporting those around you in your own life, you are the go to support person and you are naturally drawn to helping others.
You may have significant life experience which includes caring for a loved you may be tired of manual labour and looking for something more fu you may be retired or now able to work around other whanau commitments. You may even be studying and just starting out in your career.

- Prior experience with manual hoist/support of high wheel chair users (advantageous)
The roster includes working days, evenings, sleepovers and weekends.
