**The Role**

With Christmas just around the corner, this **fixed-term** role will mainly be based offsite in Lower Hutt with the possibility of more work becoming available in the Wellington branch for the afternoon.

Our Freight Sorters drive the unloading and sorting of freight to meet inbound deadlines. Ensuring that all freight meets connections to our courier drivers for delivery. In joining the Freight Sorter team, you are a crucial part of the mission to deliver our customers’ freight safely, on time, and to an outstanding standard of service.

Hours will be 6am - 10am, possibly with more hours becoming available in the afternoon. Monday - Friday so **no weekend work**.

**About you**
- You are physically fit - can lift up to 25kg - and enjoy working on your feet
- You take pride in your reliability and strong work ethic
- You have sound knowledge of local and regional geography
- You value sense of humour and teamwork - you like motivating the people around you
- You are highly committed to Health and Safety
