**The opportunity**:
We're seeking a **Technical Assistant **to join our Chemistry laboratory on a** 12 month Fixed Term Contract**, at our Lynfield Laboratory. This is a great opportunity for a person wanting to work in a commercial laboratory.

As Technical Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work alongside Technicians and contribute to completing routine tasks on time, within specified procedures and guidelines. Your key duties will involve the following;
- Washing of glassware and general cleaning around the laboratory
- Maintaining and delivering chemicals
- Sample blending and management
- Chemical and waste disposal

Our laboratory is open 7 days a week and flexibility to work overtime at short notice is ideal.

**About you**:
This is the perfect role for those that have worked in a fast-paced environment and as part of a tight-knit team. You'll have excellent time management with an eye for detail and a passion for providing quality customer focus.

To be successful in the role you will have
- A true positive and collaborative work ethic
- Experience in a fast paced, communicative environment (advantageous)
