Join our Traffic Management Team in Wellington

We’re seeking reliable, hands-on General Workers to help our traffic team get vital messages out to the public. This is a casual role that will have you based both in the office and out on the roads. You will not only help keep the public informed, but there is also the possibility of filling in with traffic duties in instances where the team are short staffed.

In addition to the above you will:
- Print and organise letters and notifications- Distribute important information around the region- Step in to assist with basic traffic management operative duties when the team is short-staffed (training provided)- Setting up and monitoring traffic management- Maintain road closures and guide traffic and pedestrians through work sites.- Assist the STMS with various duties throughout the shift

We’re looking for someone with:
- Full class 1 licence- Experienced with Microsoft Office suite- Organised, punctual and detail focused- A collaborative team player- Decent level of fitness- Quick to pick up new tasks and happy to pitch in wherever needed
