Our GIS Team is leading the way when it comes to innovation, digitalisation and creativity We are utilising GIS Technology with real time data to create live mapping of public transport against timetables and schedules to provide better services to Auckland City

We have a phenomenal opportunity for a Senior GIS Analyst with technical leadership to join our dynamic, collaborative and driven team. This varied role will provide spatial and visual data analysis as well as administrative support, that will support the business and Auckland City.

AT manages the ferry, bus and train networks as well as the walking, cycling and roads within Auckland, this creates an immerse about of diversity and varied project work. We collaborate frequently internally as well as with external key stakeholders focused on the best solutions for Auckland City.

As a Senior team member, you will act as a mentor to other Analysts, hold responsibility for coordinating agile and traditional projects as well as supporting the GIS Spatial Analysts Lead to ensure that projects are delivered to the highest standards.

To be successful in this exceptional opportunity, you will ideally have:

- Relevant tertiary qualification in Geography, Geographic Information Systems or Spatial Science
- Preferably 5 years' experience, ideally as a GIS Professional creating customer focussed spatial solutions
- Substantial experience using ESRI ArcGIS and FME
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to create quality cartographic mapping, spatial and visual data analysis, capture, presentation and editing
