**The Opportunity**

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, suitably qualified Vessel Cook / Deck Rating for approximately 3 months work aboard their 68m, 1500+ GT, New Zealand flagged vessel. Beginning Late August in Auckland the vessel will begin preparation work alongside for an international charter. Departing mid September the vessel will travel to the Tokelau's stopping at three atolls to unload before returning back to Auckland.

As the vessel cook you will be cooking for a crew of 8 onboard. Previous experience as a chef or cook aboard a commercial vessel is a would be an advantage.

**The Essentials**:

- Current Cert. of Competency as a DWR (STCW II/5) as a minimum
- Current STCW Medical issued by MNZ or AMSA.
- Current STCW Ancillary Certificates to meet your COC.
- Hold New Zealand working rights.

Remuneration for this role is:

- Daily rate while at sea = $550 NZD per day
- Daily rate while alongside = $362 NZD per day
