**About the Role**:
We require a Line Mechanic Team Leader that will supervise and coordinate a team of Line Mechanics and possibly other trade skilled staff, to achieve project delivery in a timely, efficient and safe manner.

Planning and organisation of work, professional interaction with end consumers and with asset owners is of paramount importance. Ideally you will be a Registered Line Mechanic with a current Practicing Licence who is keen to progress and looking to make that next step in your career.

**What you need to succeed**:

- Previous industry supervisory experience
- LV Live-line experience.
- Glove & Barrier qualifications will also be an advantage although not essential.
- A good work history that demonstrates a safe work ethic
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A positive approach to personal development and the development of others.
- A demonstrated safety first approach.
- Great customer service skills.
- The ability to adapt to rapidly changing scenarios whilst always ensuring safety.

**More about the role**:

- This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week
- Overtime will be paid after 40 hours at a rate of time and a half
- The wage range for this role is $35-$45/hour (gross) - dependent upon qualifications and experience
- This role is based in Cromwell/Alexandra, Otago, South Island of New Zealand
- Travel within the South Island may be required from time to time to assist with outages and/or emergency work in other regions.
