Looking for a salaried Nurse Practitioner vacancy in Canterbury region? Medfuture has a new permanent vacancy available for an energetic and enthusiastic Nurse Practitioner for our client’s medical practice located in the area of Canterbury. The chosen Nurse Practitioner will have the opportunity to showcase your nursing knowledge and real passion for the healthcare industry whilst making a meaningful difference to the patients in the surrounding communities who previously had a limited engagement to healthcare facilities and services. You will join their team working across aged residential care facilities in the area. The newly recruited Nurse Practitioner will be joining with a very supportive team thus, work in a fun and rewarding General Practice environment.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Completed a Nursing Council accredited master’s degree program (or equivalent)
- Must be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand in the registered nurse scope of practice
- Must pass an assessment against the Nurse Practitioner competencies given by a Council-approved assessor.
- Must possess strong communication skills and great leadership skills
**The Medical Practice**
A rapidly-expanding medical practice located in the Canterbury area with a special focus of the wellbeing and health of older people living in aged residential care and in the surrounding communities. The medical practice has a great team of General Practitioners as well as Nurse Practitioners that overall provide a great clinical support in a dedicated work atmosphere that offer flexibility and autonomy. Apart from the clinical and operational leadership team there is also an additional experienced professionals’ clinicians that engage in practicing in care homes.
