This is a permanent role it is 40 hours per week and is based in Greymouth.
We are looking for a Payroll Officer to join our team in Te Tai o Poutini West Coast. We are looking for someone with a passion for the manaaki hauora (Health Industry) and someone who wants to contribute in a meaningful way.
To be successful in this role, you should enjoy interacting with customers, be able to work autonomously and able to take initiative. In this role, you would be required to work in a fast-paced environment, be able to manage multiple priorities and distractions.

To be successful in this role, you should be comfortable in a complex, diverse and fast-paced work environment. We need someone who - s resilient, driven, works well under pressure and is unphased by delivering to deadlines while achieving a high level of accuracy. This role would suit an energetic problem solver with a keen eye for detail who can adapt their style and focus when the need arises. Drive and determination to deliver excellent customer service is a must.
**Your skills should include**:
- Being familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- A basic understanding of the mechanics of paying people
- Problem solving and conflict resolution
- Great numeracy skills
- Accurate data entry and good attention to detail
- The ability to meet tight deadlines
