**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

Payroll is a core function and important process within any business - it impacts all of our employees at AT. We need you to come onboard, and work with a small but effective payroll team to deliver this fundamental process to our people. Are you up for the challenge?

This role works closely with another Payroll Specialist and a Senior Payroll specialist to deliver fortnightly pay run to 1800 employees. The payroll function sits within the People Experience team who provide core operational HR support to the whole business. We are a great bunch of people, who take pride in delivering a great employee experience and Easy Journeys for Aucklanders.

The role is responsible for providing end to end payroll processing via SAP, and ServiceNow systems; were all interactions need to be professional, timely and efficient as well as processed according to NZ legislative requirements, contractual agreements (including one collective agreement), and Auckland Transport (AT) policies and procedures.

Have you got previous experience in providing an end-to-end payroll service for a large NZ company? Do you strive for accuracy and have high attention to details? Do you have great communication skills?

We are looking for someone who loves playing with numbers, can process large volumes of work efficiently, and accurately. You are organised, can plan and priortise your work to meet deadlines, you have good numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills. We are dealing with lots of private/personal information, you understand this and act with the upmost integrity.
