In your new role as a Workplace Relations Specialist, you will be responsible for providing strategic advice, guidance and support in relation to all matters connected to industrial and workplace relations, with the aim of ensuring a consistent approach across the Woolworths Group that enables our businesses to put customers and teams first.
**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga**
Partner with Directors and Heads of the People Team on the development of industrial and workplace relations strategies for existing and emerging businesses, identifying and advising on compliance and IR risk issues, and providing general industrial and workplace relations advice and support to senior leaders. Partner with Directors to identify, plan for and manage industrial and workplace issues and transactions that will impact that business or department - such as collective bargaining and fair pay agreements.
Work collaboratively with the Directors and the Legal Team to ensure Woolworths Group complies with relevant legal requirements in respect of employment laws. Collaborate with Woolworths Group and Woolworths NZ business divisions to execute policy and process changes as required.
**About You | Mōu**
To be successful in this role, you will be an effective communicator and have the ability to build and maintain relationships. A good base of enterprise bargaining skills and industrial and workplace relations skills are required for this role along with an ability to multitask in a busy environment.
