**The Role**

We are seeking highly motivated
**Air Freight Import Operator** to join our friendly team in
**Auckland.**

The purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and proactive Import service to all customers, overseas partners and related service providers. All aspects of Import operations with exceptional customer service.

**Departmental/Operational key Responsibilities may include**:

- Registration, splitting and inputting of consol
- Splitting import docs (Prealerts) and saving to scan doc System
- Costing and invoicing
- Assist with account queries
- Monitoring cash account
- Processing credit invoices
- Monitoring and reporting
- Handling special customer schedules
- Processing transshipments
- Credit and downgrade confirmations
- Establishing clearance details
- Any other additional duties as may be directed from time to time by the Import Air Team Leader or Management

**Competencies and Skills required**:

- An ability to deliver accurate work within deadlines
- Able to multi task, reprioritise, proactive and deal with conflicting issues
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A strong customer focus
- Sound knowledge of all Import department functions
- 2+ years Freight Forwarding experience
