**He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role**
We are seeking a Speciality Clinical Nurse to deliver high-quality, caring and evidence-based care to children, pregnant women, and adults with diabetes, in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
You will need experience / keen interest in Diabetes, have sound clinical assessment skills and nursing knowledge and be able to communicate with a vast number of health professionals as well as provide support to patients and their families.
**Requirements**:
- Recent clinical experience in diabetes or chronic care conditions management
- A post-graduate qualification, preferably in diabetes or long-term condition management
- An ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team as well as autonomously in nurse-led clinics
- Excellent interpersonal skills, experience in motivational interviewing and promoting change behaviour in patients
