**About the opportunity**

We are looking for an experienced Independent Quality Representatives to join our Operations team based in Nelson. This is a full time Seasonal role working 30 hours per week across Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4pm and Saturday 8am - 12pm, These shifts can vary across the season

The purpose of this seasonal fixed term position is to ensure that all fruit packed under the T&G brand meets all T&G Specifications for our local and global customers. To achieve this, we conduct quality assurance and verification inspections, at both T&G and independent packhouse and coolstore post-harvest facilities in the Hawkes Bay.

Key responsibilities include;
- Undertake and record inspections of packed fruit and packaging within the Packhouse.
- Validate QC and maturity records are completed and accurate.
- Communicate any issues that require escalation in a timely manner to the Post-harvest Quality Team Leader.

**About you**
- Quality Control experience in a fruit related industry
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Computer literate
- Able to interpret and present grade standards.
- Good understanding of pipfruit quality is desirable
- Understanding of packhouse/coolstore operations is desirable
