This exciting role won’t have you sitting in an office all day

New Zealand Couriers is looking for a positive, enthusiastic person with plenty of initiative to join our busy crew. Varied position with a mixture of depot duties, managing our card left freight, alerts and communicating with contractors daily.

Hours:
Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Intermediate computer skills required.

A focus on compliance to Health & Safety in the workplace is imperative.

Duties include:

- Conducting physical depot searches/investigations into freight.
- Scanning of items in depot and maintaining a clean depot.
- Sorting freight to courier level where assistance is required.
- Key attributes
- Be able to manage a diverse range of duties
- Motivated personality who is keen to be ‘hands-on’ in the depot.
- Flexible and adaptable
- Reliable, Punctual and Honest

As an essential business, it is important that all employees are punctual, friendly, reliable and able to work easily with others in a team environment. You will need to have a sense of humour, be physically fit, reliable, and ideally have a good geographical knowledge of local, regional and NZ wide cities and towns.

Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage but not essential.

Must be eligible to work and live in New Zealand.
