Every day the NCSC works to protect New Zealanders and their interests. The Technical Lead - Vulnerability Management forms a critical part of the wider NCSC team defending national security, raising cyber resilience and facilitating digital transformation.

- Informing the strategy of our vulnerability management services
- Embedding policies and processes that enable delivery for customers
- Training and upskilling other staff on vulnerability management
- Working across teams to promote collaboration and support coordination
- Supporting management to track and report on the performance of services
- Externally engage with stakeholders to promote and educate about our services

As part of our Unit, you will report directly to the Unit Manager. The Technical Lead role has no direct reports and will need to work collaboratively with Team Leads and Analysts within the Unit, and across the NCSC, to engage the range of skills and resources needed to be successful in this role.
You would be a great fit for this role if you have previously supported cross-team management of service delivery and are inclined towards leadership, but love technical detail.

To be eligible for employment within the NZIC you must have been a NZ citizen for at least 10 years. Alternatively you must hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years.
