**Mō te tūnga | About the role**:
Phil Twyford MP is looking for an MP Support Coordinator to join their team in the Te Atatū Electorate Office for 20 hours per week. You’ll be supporting constituents to engage with their elected representatives and helping your MP to connect with the community.
**Tō kete | What you will bring to the role**:
Your previous experiences in providing administrative support and customer engagement will be nothing short of excellent. You’ll be comfortable dealing with people and be close to the issues facing the community and be able to do this while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
You’ll be highly organised and love working within a collaborative team.
As an employee of Parliamentary Service, you will be politically impartial in your role. An awareness of the political landscape may be beneficial in supporting your MP.
**Ngā haepapa** **| Responsibilities**:
- Assist with community engagement on behalf of the MP.
- Maintain established databases and files relating.
- Work in the community.

The pay band for the role starts at $67,600 per annum (pro rata) and appointments will be based on skills and experience. All employees who work for MPs are employed on an ‘events-based’ agreement, with your employment linked to your MP. This role is based in the Te Atatū Electorate Office. For hours per week.
