**About the role**
This is a generalist role and requires a wide skillset. We are looking for a person to understand our business and own all aspects of information technology that we touch. In our current IT Team, we have an IT Officer and a Software Developer that you will work closely with. We also contract external software developers for our public-facing interfaces, and you will be integral in this relationship.
Importantly, this role is responsible for supporting and training 70+ users as well as implementing, updating and monitoring our suite of information security policies. We hold significant datasets and information security is paramount.
We are looking for a solid performer to make a commitment to us. We would rather wait for the right person than take a chance due to how critical this role is to the organisation.
This is a 40 hour per week role based in our Napier CBD office, working 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Working in Napier CBD is great. There is a nice community feel and we are right amongst cafe's, restaurants, bars, shops, facilities and are close to pathways for your lunchtime walk - we value your wellbeing.

**About you**
You might currently be working for a company providing IT support to a number of businesses. This is your opportunity to witness and absorb the positive outcome to our teams from the improvements that you will make. You will execute our IT strategy.
