- These are casual positions, so you’re in control to pick up work for the dates and events that suit you, but availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays is a must - Most of the best events take place during these times_

**Our Current Vacancies Include**:
**Corporate Guards**:
Look after our event VIPs You’ll have phenomenal customer service experience and be able to handle tricky situations whilst remaining professional at all times. You’ll act with maturity and be well presented.
- To be successful in this role you will have:_
- Proven experience in high level customer service
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and personal presentation.
- Strong communication skills and able to interact and communicate with a diverse range of people
- Previous security experience is an advantage but not necessary, Red Badge are willing to provide training for the right applicants.

**Field Guards**:
Be in the heart of the action at Waikato’s biggest sports games You’ll be in the thick of the action on your feet for your entire shift with your eyes on the crowd. You’ll be quick on your feet as you’re responsible for the safety of the players and match officials and upholding the integrity of the game
- To be successful in this role you will have:_
- Good level of physical fitness, be comfortable on your feet for prolonged periods of time and able to intercept and
- Great communication skills
- Able to accurately follow directions and act professionally
- Previous security experience is an advantage but not necessary, Red Badge are willing to provide training for the right applicants.

These positions offer a pathway into more senior security or event leadership positions and allow you to work towards gaining a Certificate of Approval COA (a requirement for security work in NZ).

**Due to the requirement of the COA license this does mean that applicants are required to be over 18 years of age to be considered.**

- _In these roles you’re contracted to work across a number of clients and events, most of our Hamilton event clients currently pay living wage meaning you’ll be paid $26 an hour. There may be opportunities to work outside of these clients and if so rate of pay will vary._
