A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a fast paced, collaborative HR team. This is a busy and varied that will focus on supporting a range of sites across Auckland with employment relations and best practice advice, ensuring HR processes and documentation is up to date, as well as supporting on selected HR projects. This role will also play an important part in implementing and supporting corporate people initiatives.

While this role sits within the wider corporate HR function you will be on the road visiting their sites and managers regularly so there is lot's of flexibility to work the hours to you You will have a company car and the ability to plan your trips to the office and locations to your day

**Key areas of responsibility include (but are not limited to)**:

- Advising on employment legislation and HR practices to key stakeholders in multiple locations as required
- Maintaining online HR resources to support the ER process and HR policies
- Assists with training and development for key HR customers on HR Employment Law, HR policies, practices and systems
- HR Admin and recruitment support, including but not limited to writing advertisements, writing contracts, HR reporting, and keeping employee files up to date
- Supports selected HR projects as and when required
- Assists with the implementation of key HR projects across the system.
- HR Representative at disciplinary enquires

**Ideally, we’re looking for someone with**:

- Sound generalist HR experience and an excellent understanding of employment legislation
- Ideally, an HR-related qualification. The ability to quickly develop and maintain effective relationships at all levels
- Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation
- Previous experience with union stakeholders will be advantageous
- Be a strong team player with the ability to work autonomously
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to deliver training to a wide range of people
