Retail Buyer

**Key Responsibilities**
- Review and analyse sales and stock data to plan purchasing needs and maintain suitable inventory levels.
- Select and buy flowers, foliage, and related items based on customer demand, market trends, and seasonal changes.
- Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms with suppliers to ensure quality products and cost efficiency.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong working relationships with local and international suppliers.
- Plan and schedule orders around key seasonal events such as weddings, Valentine’s Day, and festivals.
- Work with management and sales teams to coordinate purchasing, pricing, and promotional activities.
- Forecast consumer preferences and trends in the floral market to determine the quantity, style, and quality of goods to be purchased.
- Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records and provide regular reports to management to support decision-making and business planning.

Required to work for a minimum of **30 hours per week** and you will be paid between **$30 to $40 per hour.**

**Other Important Requirements**:

- Minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with suppliers and team members.
- Good leadership and planning abilities to manage purchasing activities efficiently.
- Attention to detail in monitoring orders, pricing, and product quality.
