Our Capital Markets Technology Team is one of the functions of the Capital Markets Directorate at the Treasury. We are responsible for the end-to-end delivery of specialist financial markets systems and information capability. This includes both internally developed and externally provided systems.
**Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the Role**

We have a rare opportunity for an ambitious **Junior** or **Senior Software Developer** to work with the us on the following:

Develop and optimise T-SQL and data pipelines
- Contribute to data warehouse and data integration systems
- Build and maintain Azure Cloud infrastructure including PaaS and IaaS
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of financial markets
- Actively contribute to system design and architecture
- Work collaboratively alongside business users in an Agile, DevOps environment
**Ō pūmanawa | About You**
- A relevant tertiary level qualification or equivalent industry qualification or experience
- Software development experience using C#,.Net, JavaScript or similar languages
- Experience working with relational data, including T-SQL, ETL and data warehousing
- Experience or an interest in financial markets
- Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills
- Effective interpersonal and relationship management skills
- The ability to influence and work with a range of stakeholders.
