We’ve got a fantastic opportunity for a Junior or Graduate Software Engineer to join our exciting mission to scale up our cloud-based platform and develop new products and propositions for our clients. You’ll join our team of fourteen engineers who are mostly Wellington-based, where the learning opportunities will be endless. You will have access to a training and development budget and a mentor to help you reach your development goals. You’ll work directly with our experienced Software Engineers and make a real impact on our products that customers use daily.

Specifically, you will:

- Work with other engineers and our product team to design and develop new features
- Work with the team to undertake refactoring and codebase improvements
- Undertake software testing and code reviews
- Pitch in to improve engineering processes — we like people who aren’t afraid to voice their ideas

**Requirements**:
What you will bring:

- Ideally, some commercial experience in software development
- Exposure to technologies such as React, Node.js, and Typescript
- Understanding of development methodologies such as Agile, Kanban, and Scrum
- Working knowledge of version control and source code management (specifically git)
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team or autonomously on your own

Nice to Haves:

- Exposure to Python and Golang
