**About the opportunity**

Product security is a new opportunity within the medical device industry. Cybersecurity in medical devices is crucial for protecting patient safety and ensuring reliable healthcare services.

Cybersecurity for medical devices is a high-growth area due to the increasing reliance on connected devices in healthcare and the potential for cyberattacks to compromise patient safety. The field is expected to continue expanding as more medical devices are connected to the internet and as cyber threats evolve.

Core responsibilities:

- Identify and assess new and changing global standards and regulations for medical device cybersecurity.
- Support the development of our device security processes.
- Lead device security / cybersecurity strategy and implementation.
- Deploy security systems for medical devices.
- Connect with Regulators and professionals in the field through industry events and online forums.

**About you**
- Strong understanding of networking, software operating systems, security protocols, and cybersecurity tools.
- Risk management experience within a highly regulated environment.
- Communication and Collaboration - Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively with other teams.
