We are looking for an experienced Paving Supervisor to join our Surfacing Paving Department based out of Mount Wellington
- Auckland.
Your strong practical paving knowledge will drive high-quality work, big and small delivering good work from Bombay Hills up to Kaitaia. Our surfacing departments support a variety of projects for both internal project delivery and external client delivery. Driving a high team moral whilst working alongside your Paving Crew will be key to a productive team environment, especially during Night Shift surfacing work.
In addition to the above you will:
- Manage a safe work environment for all employees, subcontractors and the public
- Co-ordination of resources to safely and efficiently complete planned work
- Alongside your Supervisor and Operation manager, supervise projects in a profitable and efficient manner and to the highest quality standard
- Provide support and mentorship towards your paving crew
- Provide training on paving techniques and operational best practice handing on paving equipment
- Provide effective service delivery and interaction with customers and stakeholders

We’re looking for someone with:
- Hold a minimum of 3 years’ experience operating paving equipment and plant in the civil sector
- Hold a minimum Class 2 License and WTR Endorsement
- Previous people management experience in a similar role is preferred
- Be able to interpret and deliver against plans and action onsite planning
- Must also be able to work Night Shifts
