4 x Permanent positions have become available within the Supply Chain for the role of Warehouse Shift Chargehand, working on a 4 on 4 off roster.
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this hands-on role is working within a small team where the successful applicants will be responsible for leading and assisting with the daily operational activities of the Warehouse Shift teams and assisting the Warehouse Supervisor as required. This is achieved through the supervision and workload co-ordination of warehouse shift staff, servicing Production and 3PL requirements, ensuring staff comply with Regulatory and Health & Safety standards.
**We are seeking self-motivated people with the following key attributes**:
- Will have the ability to perform all tasks to exceed the level of service demanded by internal and external customers
- An ability to resolve complex problems quickly
- Experienced in Warehousing within a large Manufacturing site and 3PL Management.
- Conversant with a recognized WMS system, preferably JD Edwards and the use of RF technology.
- Must have excellent documentation and numeracy skills.
It is essential that this person has the proven ability to lead within a team environment and can form strong working relationships key stakeholders across site and 3PLs.
A valid Forklift License is essential with an “F” endorsement is desirable.
