Mr Meats in Otara is looking for three hardworking and reliable Butchers Assistants to join our friendly team. Working hours is between 30 and 40 hours per week. Pay rate ranges from $28.50 to $30 per hour.

**Your duties will include**:

- Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
- Unload, unpack and store meat supplies.
- Record quality of meat received and report any issues.
- Follow instructions to cut, trim, bone, tie, and grind meats.
- Wrap, weigh, label, and price cuts of meat.
- Place meat cuts and products in display counter.
- Assist with placing orders and maintaining stock level.
- Perform any other related duties as required.

**Required skills and attributes**:

- Able to start at 8am and be available to work on weekends and public holidays.
- Physically fit for heavy liftings, can work in cold conditions and can stand for extended periods.
- Be comfortable with handling raw meat, animal tissue and meat products.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- No qualification previous experience is preferable but not essential.
