Imagine working in a world class hospital implementing and working with cutting edge technology
St George's Cancer Care Centre is a private centre offering high quality cancer care services based in Christchurch, New Zealand. We believe Christchurch is one of the great small cities of the world. It's known as the garden city, built around a huge and beautiful botanic gardens and public park. We have our own international airport, surf on the doorstep, mountains and vineyards a short drive away (yes, you really can surf and ski in the same day). It would be fair to say we're passionate about our sport in Christchurch, but we're also proud of our cultural scene with a thriving nightlife, art galleries and one of the best theatres and orchestras in the country. It really is a fantastic city to live and work in.
**About us**
We're a small fast-moving multi-disciplinary team so you can expect to take an active role in the full range of clinical activities associated with a busy and progressive radiation oncology service.

This two-year position (0.5-1FTE) provides an opportunity to have a real impact on the standard of treatment available to oncology patients in NZ. It provides an ideal opportunity to complete research, build a private practice, experience NZ, or maybe, you'd prefer to work part time as a medical oncologist as well - we're happy to consider full time for the right skill set.
