**Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical repairs, and carpentry work.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential issues and address them promptly.
- Ensure that all equipment and machinery are in proper working condition.
- Handle basic repairs and troubleshoot any problems that may arise.
- Perform tagging and testing of equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in all areas of the facility.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff members.
- Assist in coordinating with external contractors for larger maintenance projects.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Daily monitoring and recording of forklift checks, ensuring completion of bi-annual services.
- Ability to generate reports and maintain compliance records using Excel spreadsheets.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in maintenance and repair work.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance procedures.
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to handle various tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., electrical license, trade certification) preferred.
