**About the role**:
We are looking for a Sales Consultants to join our team based at our Palmerston North branch, assisting customers to find their first motorhome, upgrade their current one, or want to speak to us about any aspect of motor homing. We are here to help them every step of the way.

**Who are you**:

- Self-starter, prepared to initiate work and take responsibility.
- Good understanding of vehicles, Motorhomes and RV equipment/accessories an advantage.
- Being responsible for the quality and completion of own tasks.
- Excellent command of English - both written and spoken.
- Good computer skills and knowledgeable with Microsoft software
- Participate in training/development activities to improve personal and team knowledge and service provision.
- Contribute positively to team morale and service delivery.
- Weekend work required on a rostered basis.
- Some out of town travel may be required.
- Ideally 2 - 5 year of experience in the RV Industry
- Good understanding of RV equipment/accessories an advantage
- Full valid driver's licence.

**Your key responsibilities**:

- Selling RVs and RV accessories as part of the RVSC Sales KPIs and budget.
- Work as part of the team to achieve productivity targets.
- Drive customers onto our National Database.
- Ability to initiate & build good relationships with our customers.
- Introduce customer to their motorhome via the handover process.
- Understanding the characteristics, capabilities, and features/benefits of all RVs, and providing the potential customer with detailed information, including comparing different RV models.
- Creatively work on displaying the RVs to promote sales.
- Arranging test drives and demonstrating RV features.
- Assisting customers with completing the relevant paperwork required for a successful sale to be processed.
- Maintaining reporting structures and recording deals and sales on our CRM software.
- Converting yard visitors into customers by understanding their needs and interests, and matching them to the most appropriate RV.
- Promoting **_thl_**'s** services, Retail, Camplify and Service Centre for customer loyalty.
- Actively participate and be available during show times/open days includes weekends.
- Follow the vehicle hand over and show through processes.
- Actively assist with vehicle preparation such as WOF/COF and accessories
- Touching up vehicles as part of the sales yard presentation
- Ensure all assigned daily tasks are actioned in a timely manner
- Work as part of the team to achieve productivity targets
- Ensure all reporting requirements are supported to aid future decision making.
- Drive customers (potential) onto our National Database
- Assist with maintenance and upkeep of the branch and yard
- Actively participate in the **_thl_** Health and Safety system
- Other duties as required

**Hours: this is 40 hours per week from Monday to Sunday**, 5 day week over a 7 day roster with a potential of some overtime if required and a possibility of some work over the weekend if needed or required at shows
